With two homers on Sunday vs. Rockies, Aaron Judge now has 51 and is on pace to break his own American League single-season record.

Aaron Judge continues to dominate the league with his powerful bat, hitting two more home runs on Sunday to bring his season total to a major league-leading 51. This puts him in elite company as only the fifth player in baseball history to have at least three 50-homer seasons, joining Babe Ruth, Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa, and Alex Rodriguez.

Judge's first home run came in the bottom of the first inning against Rockies left-hander Austin Gomber, a 431-foot blast into the bullpen in left-center field. He then hit his 51st home run in the middle of three consecutive Yankee home runs off Rockies reliever Jeff Criswell in the seventh inning, putting New York up 7-3.

Judge is on pace for 63 home runs this season, which would break the American League record of 62 home runs he set in 2022. He is also the first player in MLB history to have at least 50 homers, 120 RBI, and 100 walks before September.

Judge's incredible season has helped the Yankees to a 75-46 record, the best in the American League. With Judge leading the way, the Yankees are poised to make a deep run in the playoffs and challenge for a World Series title.
