The vice presidential candidate hosted his second rally in Virginia hours after Biden announced he was dropping out of race

In his second rally of the day, vice presidential nominee JD Vance reiterated his call for Democrats to invoke the 25th Amendment, citing President Biden's recent announcement of withdrawing from the presidential race. Vance questioned the crowd, asking if someone could admit that Biden's unfitness to run for president also implies his inability to serve as President. He extended this argument to Kamala Harris, stating that her failure to acknowledge Biden's shortcomings disqualifies her from serving as well. Vance expressed his surprise at Biden's decision and shared his eagerness to debate Harris, who he believes is even worse than Biden.

Vance characterized Harris as a million times worse than Biden and accused her of signing up for all of Biden's failures while lying about his mental capacity to serve. He blamed Harris and the Democrats for the country's struggles under Biden's presidency. Vance also criticized Harris's stance on immigration, claiming she wanted to decriminalize illegal immigration and abolish ICE. He urged the crowd not to give Harris a chance and emphasized the importance of kicking them both out of office in the upcoming November elections.

Furthermore, Vance labeled the Democratic Party's actions as a threat to democracy, highlighting the potential dismissal of 14 million ballots in favor of a selection process influenced by billionaires and political figures. He invited Democrat primary voters to join the Republican Party, promising a commitment to making America great again and valuing the votes and opinions of its members. Vance's message focused on exposing the corruption and broken process within the Democratic Party and presented the Republican Party as a more honest and inclusive alternative.
