Kamala Harris to Rally in Milwaukee During Democratic National Convention

Vice President Kamala Harris is set to hold a rally at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee on Tuesday, the second day of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. This will mark her third visit to Wisconsin since becoming the Democratic nominee for president. Her first campaign rally took place just outside Milwaukee, and she recently stopped in Eau Claire with her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.

While the exact time of the event is still being finalized, sources familiar with the plans indicate that Harris will be the featured speaker at the rally. It remains unclear whether Walz will join her in Milwaukee.

The New York Times first reported on Harris's Tuesday plans, highlighting the potential for a significant turnout. Harris and Walz previously drew large crowds during their tour of battleground states last week, with over 12,000 attendees at the Eau Claire rally.

A spokesperson for the Harris campaign declined to comment on the vice president's travel plans.

This rally comes on the heels of the Republican National Convention, which was held at Fiserv Forum last month. The convention formally nominated former President Donald Trump. Trump's running mate, Ohio Senator JD Vance, is scheduled to address the Milwaukee Police Association this Friday.

With both parties holding events in Milwaukee, the city is poised to become a central stage for the 2024 election. The rallies will likely attract national attention and provide valuable opportunities for both campaigns to energize their supporters and connect with voters in a pivotal swing state.
