Senator Lindsey Graham has condemned Laura Loomer, the far-right influencer who has frequently accompanied former President Donald Trump in recent weeks. Graham urged Trump to distance himself from Loomer, calling her "toxic."

Loomer has been a fringe figure within the MAGA movement for years, but her presence with Trump has become more noticeable of late. She was seen leaving Trump's private jet prior to his debate in Philadelphia and attended memorials in Manhattan and Pennsylvania with him on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

Graham criticized Loomer's inclusion in Trump's entourage, particularly given the upcoming midterm elections where Trump's support is crucial. He highlighted Loomer's past statements, including a call for Kellyanne Conway's daughter to commit suicide.

Loomer has gained notoriety for her controversial stunts, including being banned from multiple social media platforms and ridesharing services. She promotes herself as the "most banned woman in the world" and has attempted to establish a brand around her status as a perceived victim of censorship.

Loomer ran unsuccessfully for the House of Representatives in 2020 and 2022. Her recent criticism by Graham follows similar condemnation from Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene , who called Loomer's remarks about Vice President Kamala Harris "appalling and extremely racist."

In response to Graham's criticism, Loomer accused him of disloyalty to Trump, citing his poor reception at a recent rally.

Graham's and Greene's denunciations of Loomer highlight the growing unease within the Republican Party over her association with Trump. Her presence threatens to damage Trump's reputation and could alienate potential voters in the upcoming elections.
