President Joe Biden is set to visit a Saginaw home on Thursday, March 14, as part of his campaign efforts to secure a second term in the upcoming election against Republican candidate Donald Trump. The visit aims to rally supporters and mobilize volunteers who will play a crucial role in building momentum for Biden's campaign over the coming months. The president, along with Vice President Kamala Harris, First Lady Jill Biden, and Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff, will be actively engaging in battleground states, strengthening organizing infrastructure, and connecting with grassroots supporters to ensure victory in November. The campaign statement emphasized the sharp contrast between Biden's agenda of reducing costs for Michiganders and Trump's alleged attacks on working families in the state, including recent comments about potential cuts to Medicare and Social Security. U.S. Representative Dan Kildee (D-Flint Township) will join Biden and other community leaders during his visit to Saginaw. The president is scheduled to arrive at MBS International Airport in mid-Michigan at 1:10 p.m. on Thursday, departing for Washington, D.C. at 5 p.m. Biden's visit to Saginaw follows his trip to Milwaukee on March 13, where he announced a $3.3 billion infrastructure project benefiting disadvantaged communities. His journey to Saginaw will commence from Wisconsin at 11:20 a.m. via Milwaukee International Airport Air National Guard Base. This visit marks Biden's return to Saginaw since his time as vice president in February 2010.
