The Washington Post claimed that the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) found documents related to nuclear weapons during a raid on former President Donald Trump's Florida home.

On August 9, the FBI raided Trump's home during his tenure at the White House as a result of an investigation into whether he had received classified records.

The Washington Post reported that searches of Trump's home revealed documents relating to another country's nuclear weapons information.

Sources who spoke to the Washington Post said the documents were related to the nuclear defense of another state, but did not specify which country they belonged to.

Some of the documents seized detail the top-secret U.

S. operation, which is so closely guarded that even many senior national security officials are unaware of what's on the paper, the report said.

According to Reuters, an FBI spokesman declined to comment on the report.
